I spent a little time off this summer, and spent a lot of time thinking about where the US is as a country in year ten of the Trump era. The biggest problem is that thanks to Trump, and his predecessors, the US military is completely out of control. This article is a doozy, but I think it explains most of where we are, a lot more convincingly and comprehensively than anything else I’ve seen.
